Bitcoin QR Codes

Create a QR code to pass your Bitcoin address to another user or, if you specify an amount, to request the payment of particular amount into your Bitcoin account. The Bitcoin QR code is one of the 23 fully-functional data types as a free user or as a paid account subscriber.

No sign-up or registration is required, and users will have access to non-expiring QR code data types. Features such as QR code editing and analytics reporting are also made available as part of the paid subscriber feature set.

How To Create Bitcoin QR Codes

QR Stuff can store important details such as the Bitcoin address and the amount of money in this cryptocurrency. A Bitcoin address is unlike the usual address line, as it is a unique set of alphanumeric characters that usually begin with number 1 or 3. It represents a distinct destination for a payment made through Bitcoin. You will also need to provide the amount in millibitcoin, or 1/1000 of a bitcoin.

  1. Go to https://www.qrstuff.com/?type=bitcoin and have the “Bitcoin” data type pre-selected from the Data Type section.
  2. Enter the address details in the required field. You can also specify the amount in mBTC, labels such as recipient name, and messages or notes to the recipient.
  3. Click the “Download QR Code” button to have your Bitcoin QR code ready.

Make It A Bit Fancy

While free users can change the foreground colour of their QR code, paid subscribers have the ability to also change the appearance of QR code image and embed a logo or image in the centre of it. Just use the steps outlined above to create your Bitcoin QR code, and then, before you download your finished QR code, click the “Style Your QR Code” button to change its appearance.

To the right is an example that shows what could be done to the Bitcoin QR code created above using our QR Code Styling feature. Our styling interface allows you to make your QR code more visually distinctive and, by embedding a suitable image, perhaps more intuitive as well. Read our blog post on QR Code Styling for more details about how to use this feature.
